Mr. Math Pants has been busy making a map for me of the T.o.T. so that I can make a pattern for the knitted pieces. So excited.
Just how many knitted squares does it take to cover a 1960 Airstream? Last week there was a nasty rumor (started by my husband) that it would take 550 (based on the size of square I was making, which was approximately 14″ x 14″.) That little piece of info made me switch to doubling the worsted weight yarn and moving up to size 11 needles. I think it was a wise move. Today I plan to quantify the squares and hope that I will still be able to breathe after the reality check.
